From the Cà Armonia 2 Loft-apartment, you can admire both Lake Vogorno (also known as Lake Verzasca) and Lake Maggiore simultaneously, along with the famous Verzasca Dam from the James Bond film GoldenEye, the surrounding mountains, and the traditional church bell tower, right in front of the building. 

Located on the 3rd floor, the loft-apartment enjoys a unique and charming position. It is an excellent base for exploring the region on foot, with many hiking trails starting directly from the village, as well as for excursions to nearby attractions such as Cardada-Cimetta, the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso, Locarno, Ascona, and the Brissago Islands. Please note that access to the apartment is via stairs; there is no elevator. The apartment is located right next to the Cà Armonia 1 studio.

KITCHEN / LIVING AREA / SLEEPING ROOM

The space is bright and welcoming, with an open kitchen connected to the living area. A separate bedroom features a design double bed by MDF Italia (160 × 200 cm). For a third guest, a modern “Room in a Box” carton single bed (90 × 200 cm) is also available in the same room.

For your health and comfort, all mattresses and pillows are covered with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD certified, hypoallergenic, breathable, and antibacterial covers. Bed linens and towels are made of 100% cotton. The blankets and pillows are filled with comfortable down feathers, while during the summer season, lightweight wild tussah silk blankets are provided. A fan is available year-round.

Step out onto your private terrace, furnished with a table and chairs – perfect for breakfast, lunch, or simply enjoying the stunning views.

BATHROOM

The bathroom is fully equipped with fresh towels, a hairdryer, soap, and shampoo for your comfort. All household products and paper items, including dishwashing liquid and cleaning supplies, are natural and environmentally friendly, so you can enjoy your stay sustainably.

KITCHEN

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It includes a refrigerator with a small freezer, electric stove, oven, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine (please bring your own Nespresso capsules), and a Bialetti moka pot. Oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper are provided.

INTERNET & PROJECTOR

High-speed Wi-Fi (150 Mbit/s) is available throughout the apartment. You can watch movies and TV by connecting your device to the projector via HDMI cable (adapter provided).

“Cà Meriggio” is a modern, welcoming holiday apartment, with a private garden and convenient private parking. Located just a short walk from the crystal-clear river beaches of the Maggia and Melezza, it’s perfect for families, couples and friends; whether it’s a refreshing swim, a quick ice cream, or easy access to shops and restaurants, everything is right at your doorstep. Ideally located for hiking, climbing, and mountain biking, with great connections to Ascona, Locarno, and the surrounding valleys, it also offers a secure, lockable bike storage area with charging facilities; ready for your next adventure! 

The apartment is located on the ground floor. The main entrance is easily reached by entering through the gate next to the parking area and crossing the garden. Here you will find a private outdoor space where you can relax on deck chairs or enjoy a meal at a traditional Ticino granite table. There is also a storage room where you can safely store your bicycles, equipped with a charging station as well.

LIVING ROOM / KITCHEN

Upon entering the apartment, you immediately step into the living area with an open-plan kitchen, fully equipped with an electric oven, a spacious fridge with freezer, a kettle, and a Delizio coffee machine. There is also a working fireplace (wood available for an additional fee) and a dining table.

BEDROOMS / BATHROOM

Along the corridor, you will find the bathroom, which includes a bathtub, sink, and toilet (hairdryer, towels, toilet paper, as well as shampoo and shower gel are provided). This is followed by two bedrooms: the first with a double bed (160x200), and the second with a single bed and a pull-out bed for a second person (2x 90x200).

The second bedroom has been furnished with families in mind, but it is also suitable for adults. We warmly welcome younger guests; a travel cot and high chair are available upon request.

For your health and comfort, all mattresses and pillows are covered with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD certified, hypoallergenic, breathable, and antibacterial covers.

In the apartment, you will find recommendations for restaurants and activities suggested by the owners, who live in the same building on the upper floor, as well as brochures about the region, interesting books, and a selection of children’s toys and board games.

Pets are allowed for an additional fee of CHF 50 per stay, per animal. Please note: the outdoor space under the two gates may allow small dogs to pass through.

Discover the charm of an authentic Ticinese rustic house dating back to 1566, located in the heart of Avegno’s historic village center. Carefully renovated, it blends traditional character with modern comfort. Once the home of my grandmother and her family, it still retains the authentic atmosphere of village life, nestled among historic alleys and just steps from nature. From here, you can easily reach the river, climbing and bouldering walls, as well as local grotti and numerous hiking trails, all within walking distance. With your stay, you help keep alive the memory of the house, the people who lived here, and its identity, passing it on through time.

Casa Giacomina is the third of three apartments that make up the rustic building, arranged lengthwise. The other two apartments are lived in year-round by residents, while Casa Giacomina has been designed specifically for holiday stays (located on the right-hand side, facing the village center). The apartment is spread over three floors, connected internally by a spiral staircase.

Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace (not for guest use), and a guest bathroom with WC and sink.
First floor: main bathroom with bathtub, WC, and sink, and a double bedroom with a double bed (160 × 200 cm) overlooking a small terrace with a view of the courtyard/garden.
Second floor: bedroom with two single beds (which can be joined upon request, 2 × 90 × 200 cm) and a small “home office” corner.

In front of Casa Giacomina runs a small public path that crosses the historic village center. In the garden, you will have access to a pergola with a stone table and grill, perfect for outdoor lunches and dinners immersed in the atmosphere of the village.

Staying in the historic center also means rediscovering the charm of life as it once was: houses close together, doors opening onto the same pathway, children playing, and people meeting along the way. It’s a place where greetings come naturally, a few words are exchanged in passing, and everyday life intertwines spontaneously creating an authentic and welcoming atmosphere.

ACCESSIBILITY
The house is located in the historic center, just off the cantonal road.
If you arrive by car, you will need to park in the area reserved for residents of the village center, about a 5-minute walk (200 m) from the house, near the parking spaces by Grotto Mai Morire (see photo).
If you arrive by bus, the nearest stop is Avegno Grotti, also just 200 meters from the house, directly opposite Grotto Mai Morire.

This short walk will allow you to immediately begin soaking in the authentic atmosphere of the village.

This newly built holiday home is located on the hills above the city center of Locarno and offers a spectacular 180-degree panoramic view over Lake Maggiore and its surroundings. From sunrise to sunset, you can enjoy the changing colors of the sky and the magical sparkle of the lights reflected on the lake in the evening.

Built in 2021, this holiday home was carefully constructed using only natural, non-toxic materials, sourced primarily from Switzerland and Austria. From the moment you step inside, you’ll notice the fresh, healthy atmosphere of a home designed with your well-being in mind.

It is the perfect place for guests looking for nature, culture, relaxation, or outdoor activities. The house can be reached from the road via a public footpath of about 3 minutes. A private parking is available on the same street, and public parking is available for an additional car.

LIVING ROOM / KITCHEN (55 m²)

The house is on two floors, with a bright living room and open-space kitchen located on the upper floor. Large windows open onto a breathtaking 180° panoramic view, allowing you to cook, dine, or relax on the sofa while enjoying the warmth of the wood-burning stove.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It features a refrigerator with freezer, oven, electric stovetop, kettle, and toaster, as well as raclette and fondue sets for a true Swiss experience. For coffee lovers, there is a top-quality Jura coffee machine with a milk foamer. A dishwasher is also provided for your convenience, making meal preparation and cleanup effortless. Oil, vinegar, salt & pepper are provided.

LAKE ROOM (20 m²) & MOUNTAIN ROOM (20 m²)

On the ground floor, there are two bright bedrooms, each bathed in either morning or evening sunlight. One bedroom features a double bed made of two single mattresses (2 × 90 × 200 cm), while the other has a double mattress bed (180 × 200 cm). Both rooms have private bathrooms with a shower, sink, and toilet, as well as soundproof windows and doors for extra comfort. Individually controlled air conditioning is available in both rooms.

GARDEN ROOM (12 m²)

This bedroom features a 140 × 200 cm bed, air conditioning, and as well soundproof windows and doors for maximum comfort. Enjoy beautiful views of the Brissago Islands from the window, with direct access to the outdoor seating area for a relaxing moment in the open air. A separate toilet with sink is conveniently located next to the room.

All mattresses and pillows feature OEKO-TEX® STANDARD certified hypoallergenic, breathable, and antibacterial fabric.

The exclusive spaces of ‘La Brezza’ are designed to offer comfort, light, and relaxation, perfectly harmonizing with the elegance and attention to detail that define this apartment. Just a 2-minute walk from the lake, it also features a private garage with secure bike storage and a bike charging station, making it the ideal choice for an unforgettable holiday on Lake Maggiore. Inside, you will also find objects that recall life from the past: an old carpenter’s workbench, a wooden ladder, and sculptures and small items created by the owner’s grandfather, all originating from the region. These details give the apartment a nostalgic and artistic touch, making the spaces even more unique and rich in history.

The apartment is located on the first floor of a condominium in a five-story building and enjoys a pleasant partial view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. Access is possible both via the external stairs and from the private underground garage, where an elevator is also available. The garage offers space for one car and the possibility to charge bicycles, while the bus stop is located right in front of the building, making transportation simple and convenient.

The large sliding glass doors in the living room lead to the terrace, furnished with a table and eight chairs perfect for outdoor lunches and dinners. Two bedrooms open directly onto the terrace, creating a harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

On the left side, there is a double bedroom (bed 160 × 200) with a garden view and access to a private terrace with a lounge area, accompanied by a fully equipped guest bathroom with WC and sink. On the right side, a corridor leads to a second double bedroom (bed 140 × 200) and a single bedroom (bed 90 × 200) with a home office area, both with panoramic views and access to the terrace. Along the corridor, there is a second bathroom, also fully equipped with a shower, WC, and sink.

Welcome to a traditional Ticino rustico that a German journalist and writer bought in the early 1960s as a writing retreat. He named the house "Casa Bruja", which is admittedly Spanish and not Italian. Translated, the name means "witch's house". In German, however, the Spanish "bruja" sounds like the "Bruch" in "Bruchbude". Because the rustico was not much more than that back then. And since then it has been a work in progress: whenever the family has been coming for more than 60 years, it is repaired - and above all improved. For them, the house is a very personal, individual place, sometimes with the charm of the imperfect! Here you can find a convivial atmosphere and at the same time enjoy the peace and relaxation of the place with a beautiful, wide view of the Lake Vogorno (also known as Lake Verzasca), Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains.
 
The holiday home consists of two buildings, each with two floors, a courtyard, a small garden with stone table with panoramic view, and a sun terrace. The house also has a private covered parking space with room for two cars.

A kitchen with dining area is fully equipped and features a refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric stove, toaster, oven and a Bialetti moka coffee pot. Upon request, a grill is available for use on sunny days, perfect for outdoor cooking.

The living room, with a cozy fireplace (please bring your own wood), offers a comfortable sofa and a well-stocked library with a wide selection of books, as well as games for fun and relaxation.
